Wisconsin Slays #4 Purdue

by Cody Clark ~ January 9th, 2010.

As one of the only undefeated teams left in college basketball, the Purdue Boilermakers came into their match-up with the Wisconsin Badgers feeling good about themselves as a team as well as in the polls. The Badgers were out to change that. Jordan Taylor led the charge for Wisconsin, as he dropped 23 points in relief of Trevon Hughes. For the second time this year, Wisconsin has beaten a top 10 team at home and improved 13-3 on the year as well as 3-1 in conference play. Purdue’s 14-0 start tied for the most in school history, but Wisconsin used a healthy 82% from the charity stripe to down the Boilermakers and grab their 9th with at home in the Kohl Center.
