The Magic survived Boston’s 12-3 second quarter run and took a 43-40 lead into the half, and the third quarter belonged to Carter as he scored 10 points and helped chisel a ten point lead for the Magic. The Celtics came back and made it a game down the stretch, however, as Rasheed Wallace hit a fade away 7 footer that tied the game at 78 and Vince Carter hit the go ahead 12 foot fade away jump shot to give the magic an 80-78 lead with 2:33 left to play in the game. Jason Williams clinched the game for Orlando when he stole the ball from Ray Allen off of Rashard Lewis’s two made free throws to give the Magic their fourth straight win, and also hand Boston its third loss at home this year. (They lost only six total there all season last year) Orlando now sits at 10-3 on the season and only a game back of the Atlanta, who sits a top the division at 11-2. The Magic are playing good basketball right now and they look to continue their streak at the Air Canada Center to take on the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
