Manning Propels Colts to Win #14
by Cody Clark ~ December 19th, 2009.With yet another 300 yard passing game, Peyton Manning led his unbeaten Indianapolis Colts to their record 7th come from behind win this season with a 35-31 defeat of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The lead changed hands 9 times before the final lead change; a 65-yard touchdown completion from Manning to Reggie Wayne to give the Colts a four-point lead that they would not relinquish. Manning turned in another respectable game, completing 23/30 for 308 yards and 4 more touchdowns for a 134.4 rating. Now sitting at 14-0, we will most likely not see most of the starters the rest of the year as coach Jim Caldwell will probably follow former coach Tony Dungy’s lead. I suspect that the starters will rest, but win their final game against the Buffalo Bills to finish at 15-1 and move into the playoffs rearing to go.
