Needing only a 25th finish or better to grab the Cup title, Jimmie Johnson finished in 5th place finish at Homestead-Miami Speedway to clinch his fourth Sprint Cup title. Johnson is now in an elite company of racers, as Lee Petty, David Pearson, Darrel Waltrip, and Cale Yarborough sit at three each, himself and Gordon at four, and the greats Dale Earnhart and Richard Petty sit at seven each. Jimmie Johnson and the Hendrix Motorsports team are the dynasty of racing, as they have won their four titles in the past eight years. Johnson is only 34 years old, and I fully expect (as do most people) that he will easily pass the mark of seven titles and will go down in racing history a the greatest driver of all time.
