Alex Rodriquez improved New York to 2-8 against their rivals the Boston Red Sox on Friday night with a two-run walk off home run against Junichi Tazawa to run the Yankees win streak to 5 games and increase their division lead over the Sox to 4.5 games. The game was a 5 hour and 33 minute 15th inning marathon with many weird stats, such as 13 combined hits, 22 left on base, and 13 hits in 113 at bats. With that blast, A-Roid tied Harmon Killebrew for ninth all time with 573 dingers. This was a very tough loss for the Red Sox, and I believe that they must split the rest of the two games if they have a chance of winning the division.
