On June 16th, Sammy Sosa was the second name released from that “confidential” list of names that tested positive for performance enhancing drugs six years ago in 2003 drug testing. Only two of the names on this list of 104 have been named, and they are, coincidentally, some of the stars of the game. (Sosa, and Alex Rodriguez) A couple players (Tori Hunter and Lance Berkman) and other people are a little annoyed by the fact that they have only released two people’s names, including myself. A-rod has already had his name dragged through the mud, and given time, Sammy Sosa will be too. I don’t think that it is right to say that this list in confidential, but then leak only two people. Even if the other players are minor leaguers or bottom of the barrel players, that doesn’t mean you don’t release their names just because it won’t get as much press or attention as big name players. It is not fair to those two players whose names were leaked that they had to undergo a lot of criticism and are the only two people having been named, and I think that the other names should be released because now we may never know who the were. (Although, if you look back at pictures, you may be able to just tell)
